HondoB Bedrock of the Community United States 25028 Posts	Posted 12/15/2023 8:29 pm This was in a lot of generally old foreign coins - many from Mexico. Most Civil War tokens were not extensively circulated. However, this one seems well-used, to say the least. The date is 1863 - barely legible if it is held at the right angle, while the reverse reads "New York". From Trask's "Patriotic Civil War Tokens 1861 - 1865), I was able to determine it was struck with obverse die 63 and reverse die 433. Couldn't figure out a Fuld #, and did not have any luck with Rulau. It's just a fun find that I wanted to share with everyone.
