I've had this small token for many years and failed to get any ID for it on various forums. I set things like this on the back burner awaiting the day when I may come to know what it is.
Just in this mornings emails, I got a message showing new arrivals from a favored dealer. To my surprise the first item I saw looked strikingly like the very token I had. So much so that I've decided my item is a farthing pub token. Perhaps London but I really have not pin-pointed the town.

I had a different case with a coin or token from Israel.
Written description as "Trick Date".
It was in no catalog I could find so it sat for some years.
Maybe it was nine years?
Until perhaps on this forum where I saw it again some time ago.
If I have not already, I may post that one.
In fact, one of the readers here may already guess what it was.
Truth is I'm not exactly certain where it was that it was seen and identified.

An interesting token @alb. Looks like you are satisfied with the identification, so then I'm inclined to move it over to the tokens subforum. Or are you looking for additional help?

No more help needed unless someone may know the town.
I'll look for it over there and I'll have to bookmark that subforum.
I thought Identification: Unidentified Coins, Medals, and Tokens
Would be the right place?

Ok right well generally this subforum is for when folks really don't know what they have. You know you've got a pub token but are just looking for additional information about which specific pub and its location. I'll move it over there and hope that one of our token collectors can shed a little more light.

Sounds good and thanks.
Makes sense now that it is identified to move it.
I added that sub forum to my bookmarks bar.

Just going by the legends, it seems Watford, Hertfordshire would be the obvious guess, right?
