That's a barber coin so its not 1987, I think you mean 1897?

Well in the condition its in, about $6-$10. I wouldn't may more than melt (about $4.35)

Please post full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse. The coin in posted photo is not a 1987 quarter, as shown in the topic's title.

Why do you need full, large and sharp pics? There is no mint mark for its a P Mint, none of the P mint are key dates, so its a heavily circulated Barber quarter. At best its AG3, and its value is between melt and $10. This is not an AU/MS coin.

Its just a heavily circulated Barber quarter.

This is a heavily worn Barber quarter with little to no numismatic premium. Its value is tied to the silver content.

Junk silver goes for about 20x face presently, so this would have a value of about $5. Maybe $6 on account of it being a Barber.
