Unfortunately, no. Should weigh 3.1 grams, so I think your scale is rounding up. Can't tell from the photo, but the "fat 8" may be due to a circulation hit moving metal. There is also some damage/corrosion present.

norman02 Please check your scale, the cent should weigh 3.11 grams. It appears that the 8 has suffered from a hit, PMD.

The proper weight, as stated should be 3.11 grams. You should be using a scale that measures out to at least 2 decimal points.
