You're right, the gas bubble does kinda look like a coat hook.

@ijn yes it does resemble a cactus too, yes Spence I have poked it a bit with a toothpick but didn't seem to do anything. I t looks more solid in hand than the image presents, but I still figure gas bubble as there isn't really another explanation. Thx guys, for the comments.

Yes Dearborn I am happy with that a "coat hook bubble" is a good diagnosis. I may keep it in 2x2 just so I can put that name on it.
