Not super flashy, but a nice Struck Through Grease on this quarter. Coin weighs 5.59g so nothing else going on here I believe. *** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Please put as much info in the title as you can, they are very important. ***

I question Grease here versus very circulated Quarter. Circulation and low strike worn, old Die. Rims are almost lost.

I agree with Struck Through Grease. It seems like the rim above LIB would be missing, just like the top of LIB (and other areas of the coin), if this were from circulation.

Something wasn't sitting right with me about this coin and so I've investigated and added another photo. I believe this could be a "low pressure strike" now. The edge has weak reeding and in some areas it is completely gone. The area of missing reading matches with the area of missing design on LIBERTY. Of course some of this is due to circulation wear but I think this makes a good case for a low pressure diagnosis.

Yes E&V, I was reading over that page earlier and it prompted me to take a closer look at the edge.

What are the tell tail signs that this coin is a weak strike and not a Greaser? John1
