This is a good teaching coin to distinguish between strike weakness and wear. Tough to place a numerical grade on this especially from just pictures but I would venture somewhere in the MS range. Looking forward to the reveal.

I think it slots in around 63. I am not great at grading CBH's.

Some strike issues but I don't see any wear in the usual places. MS-64.

Looks like strike weakness to me. I want to say MS64, but is a tough series to grade for sure. Beauty though.

Glad everyone thought it was higher than it was graded. The luster is fantastic, and the images don't do it justice. I also had it CMQ stickered since I bought it in a Stacks auction.

I guess the strike weakness played into the grade as I found it was previously also in an NGC holder also graded 62. It can be traced back to a Scotsman's sale and Heritage sale in 2013. It is as nice as 63s that I have seen.
