1944 P Jefferson War Nickel Errors - Coin Community Forum

vaiovaio1 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 04/10/2009 8:20 pm Help! I have a 1944 P War Nickel that was double struck in collar on both sides. As a result of a rotated double strike on the reverse, the word PLURIBUS has been misspelled as PLUEIBUS. Could this be considered a valuable error discovery? Report this Post to the Staff

coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 04/10/2009 10:12 pm 1. Double struck in collar is the correct term. 2. It had to be double struck 'on both sides' because that's how coins are struck. Very nice coin! Report this Post to the Staff
