I have a Canada 2011 Coin with an older Queen Elizabeth 2 on obverse that has shiny fields and looks like a proof. Weight is 2.35 grams and is nonmagnetic. I thought Canada proof cents were marked with a small P but I did not find a mark. On the obverse I did find a small circle with what looks like back to back k's ! Take v a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and as always Regards!

Nice and shiny circulation strike.
The last of the PL coins were struck in 2010.

allcoinsaregood - Starting with some 1999 coins, a P meant a plated coin on steel blanks. This was to differentiate them from the regular coin's composition.
The other mark, below the Queen's head as shown on your cent, is the RCM logo. (some call it a mint mark). Nice pictures.
