I bought these 2 bill for face value yesterday and believe I might have something special so I am asking you guys what you think. These are 2 sequentially numbered 2017 A $1 star notes that are in a near uncirculated condition not a crease fold or even a bent corner on either of them. They are off center of there margins on both bills both sides with some ink runs on the lettering. Their dimensions are spot on and so is the weight. The ink is sharp and raised and they to the best of my knowledge look legit. Please let me know what you think and if I have something that might be of value here. Thanks.

Notes are within BEP tolerances. I see little if any premium, but I would keep them if I found them.I noticed that one star on each note is filled in. We need Steve to chime in.

John1 is spot on.
The margins are lopsided but not enough to establish the notes as errors. The solid star is considered an error. In the past it wasn't seen very often, but recently I've seen many of them, which dilutes their value. Nice find Joe.

Go to "star note lookup" and enter the number. You'll find that these are pretty common. But since they are mint and have sequential serial numbers, you might be able to get $10 for the pair.

Thank you guys for your insite. One other thing I noticed is that besides the margins being off the actual print is also not off on both sides by a 1/4 inch or more so that the don't line up. It's really apparent when held up to the light. You can see it when you look at the margins on boths sides in the pictures.
