Came across this in a roll today. It's a 1979 no mint mark. Wonder the community thoughts on it. Sorry didn't get any good pics of the obverse. Completely forgot to configure the date on my microscope too darn! But the coin itself ir really cleanand has some decent toning.

To CCF! You have 1979 Philadelphia cent with Machine Doubling. Not worth getting it graded.

That is classic Machine Doubling.

no mint mark simply means the cent was produced in Philadelphia, it is not necessary to use that expression.

A good rule of thumb is that MD looks shelflike and serves to reduce the width of the letters. Yours is a great example of this.
