1958 Wheat Penny - Far Fetched? - Coin Community Forum

While there is not DDO on "Liberty" (that would have been nice), I am seeing a little something on the date. My eyes are novice at best, so be gentle on what you think of this one or if there is something here. Feel free to provide a grading as well, if you like. ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19134 Posts	Posted 01/17/2024 2:37 pm I believe I'm seeing Die Deterioration doubling--especially with the 9, 5, and 8. Too, there's what looks like an emergent obverse and reverse ridge ring--a sign of Die Deterioration. Report this Post to the Staff

Then you post your findings here on CCF so we can verify it.At the same time you are looking for a match, you train your eye to learn doubled dies. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
