Take a look at this 1958 Wheat penny, please. While there is not DDO on "Liberty" (that would have been nice), I am seeing a little something on the date. My eyes are novice at best, so be gentle on what you think of this one or if there is something here. Feel free to provide a grading as well, if you like.

Thank you.

I believe I'm seeing Die Deterioration doubling--especially with the 9, 5, and 8. Too, there's what looks like an emergent obverse and reverse ridge ring--a sign of Die Deterioration.

PaulyD,
What attribution number do you think it might be?

@John1...Help me out with attribution number. I see a 1958 Wheat penny, maybe high AU or low MS. I thought I saw some doubling on the date but looks like my friends here are seeing Die Deterioration Doubling.

Thanks

When you think you have found a doubled die or an RPM you need to check all three reference sites, we all need to. Then you post your findings here on CCF so we can verify it.At the same time you are looking for a match, you train your eye to learn doubled dies.

There is only 1 DDO in 58. And it's a big one, you would have no questions if you see it.
