A great example of a Retained Die Break ( Retained Cud). This 1966 50 Centavos coin from Colombia has a strong anvil die, rim to rim, die brake. I must say that I don't pay much attention to my foreign coins, but this one jumped out at me. I can't decide about the other thing I saw. Is this also a DDR or is it most likely machine doubled? See the photos.
I can't decide what to do with this one. I'm really a Lincoln Cent guy.

Very nice Retained Die Break! The doubling you're seeing could either be Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration Doubling.
