bherring, your link is just for the purpose of setting up a subscription to buy the sets. there is no l per household limit on the sets, as my subscription for 10 sets is still in effect. by setting up an account with the mint, you can subscribe for not only the proof sets, both regular and silver, but for mint sets. when you set up your subscription, you will be offered different options of 1, 5, 10, or 25 set orders.

Yeah....I changed my subscriptions a bit to account for this years proof Copper Lincolns and the fact of the total number of coins in the Uncirculated Sets for this year.
I have 3 subscription each.......3 Uncirc. Sets......3 Proof Sets......and 3 Silver Proof Sets......and they'll be automatically shipped to ya when available as Oshelt said Bherring1964. I will change them back to only one each for 2010's Sets.....I just want more of these for this specific year.
It's the best way to get your ASE's too........use the "subscription" option on stuff like this that you plan on getting each and every year....

I was thinking of doing this subscription thing. Is it pretty hassle free? Do you only get charged when they get shipped or are you charged when you order it? Is there any advantage for doing the subscription like lower price, cheaper shipping? or is it just an advantage to not have to look for release dates frequently.

You get charged when they "ship".
It is "hassle free", because you know that "your order is in". And you don't have to worry about sold out items, or forgetting about it, etc. etc.
No "lower price" .....it's the same price without a subscription.
"Shipping Price" is exactly the same, but if you order a "group of items" then you'll only be charged one shipping price even if they're shipped seperately. That rule applies to "non-subscription orders" as well though.
So, if you know you want "several things"....if you can, see to it that you make "one order" rather than several seperate orders.

I used to have many Subscriptions actually I think the # was 17 costing me $4.95 shipping for each. Then I realized I could order about 5 times per year and save about $60 in shipping costs.

I have to be careful to order prior to each new quarter roll release, because when a new 1 comes out the previous is no longer available.

same with Presidential dollar rolls

Now to make it even more interesting I also have to figure in release dates for the Lincoln Cent, which as seen can disappear at anytime

My plan at present is to keep putting items in the cart and order the day the Lincoln is released

Not quite, with the subscription you will be charged one shipping for the min sets, one shipping for the proof sets an one shipping for the silver proofs. If you were to wait until they were all available and ordered them all at the same time you would pay one shipping for all nine sets. So why not wait and save on shipping? Because you run the risk of either sell outs, or missing a flippers market.

.....that why I said..."if you can" though.....and securing your order to avoid "sellouts", etc. etc......
It was an obvious assumption that with the months in between some product offerings and waiting too long to avoid further shipping costs that this wouldn't be possible.
As far as the three Sets mentioned, doubtful they'll "sellout" early.....you never know though.....but other orders can be combined with the Uncirculated Set.....then a few months later when the Proof Set is available....other orders can be combined with the Proof Set .....and so on and so forth.
So, yeah.....if you think you only need to do ONE order for the entire year to avoid shipping costs......and you want all of this stuff......and if you wait until Christmas to order ANYTHING......and then assume you'll get EVERYTHING you want.......that could be a big assumption !.....and I didn't mean to imply that if I did !
By the way....you can't put other things in with your subscription order....that will come as an individual order. But you can get multiples of the same Sets.
Depending on how much stuff you want for the entire year......you may NOT want to do the subscriptions......(for the reasons I've mentioned)
