Hi everyone, I'm new in the group and in collecting coins. I only saw at least 4 coin error like this online, do this type of error have some worth other than 1Cent

@prim, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes those scratches along Abe's head are damage. This cent is only worth face value.

first and foremost thank you for your comments and I truly appreciate for welcoming me in your group.

The same thought I had when I first saw my coin, "it's a damage!", but upon checking closely and verifying online a coin w/ the same damage, I found some but with a circulation deterioration and if you look closely, I can not explain how those layer of metal from inside going out, I believe It could not happen when it was in circulation.
Just my thought

to the CCF On the first coin, if you have a gouge with a buildup of metal, it's damage. It can't happen before the strike. PMD. PMD also on your second coin,.
