1960 D - Dime - Strange Doubling - New Variety?

gschmidtjd Valued Member United States 51 Posts	Posted 01/28/2024 12:57 am I was going through a roll of 1960 D dimes that my wife's grandmother had saved back in 1960. I was looking for RPMs when I came across this dime. The letters in the motto seem to have doubling. Almost triple or quadruple. Anyone have any thoughts on these photos? It does not look like Die Deterioration or Machine Doubling to me, but I am still a novice at this. I will upload the full coin images shortly. Any help would be appreciated.
