EF40 but it's details if the scratches/graffiti in the left obverse field are on the coin and not the holder.

Quote: details if the scratches/graffiti in the left obverse field are on the coin didnt see those Ploppy. good eye. they are toned over so whatever happened was quite a while ago. they appear to be on the coin and could point to an old cleaning. not sure how a TPG would interprit them. I don't think they would details the coin but one needs to look closely at them in hand to see how prominent they are

I did not notice those scratches, either. The only reason they're visible is the angle at which the coin is being illuminated, but even so they are very faint. Are they really from actual cleaning, or just an "oops"?

I don't want to take it out of the coin flip just yet. I'm not too sure what I should do. While I wouldn't say it's been completely cleaned, it has been "prepared" for market. Should I keep this or send it back?
