When first made all pennies have bright luster. Circulation tarnished them to brown eventually. This is just one that did not see circulation. If you put your fingers on the surfaces, they will eventually turn brown and lose the luster as well. Currently your coin would be termed to be in mint state (MS).
To answer the next question people ask: No, it is not something to get graded. The initial cost to grade a coin is around 200.00 using NGC or PCGS b/c they have expensive mandatory membership (and other) fees.
ANACs does not have the membership fee, but they still charge enough that this coin would never be worth what you gave the to slab it.
