I'm curios about this coin. Has it been in a fire or has it naturally turned this way.

It doesn't look like fire damage to me, but I'd be concerned about possible artificial toning with this one. I often see it on Morgans where the value increases significantly when you go up just a grade or two. For me, this is probably a VF35, but the toning makes it look more like an XF40/45. I'm also skeptical of coins with full, mostly-even toning on one side and uneven but attractive toning on the other. I'm not saying this is definitely artificial, but I'd be curious to hear others' opinion on it.

That sounds like "folder toning".

It's on a auction site near me. Right now it's $75, I'm sure it will go up closer to end time of auction. But I'll probably go to $125, and take a gamble.
