It is not missing the copper plating. Looks like something is on the coin like mercury?

Looks like the plating was so thin that it is easily wearing off from circulation. You would need at least a 2 place digital scale (0.00) to get close to an accurate weight.

Has anyone ever seen a coin looking like this one, shiny steel like surface, deep cam looking that weighs 2.94g?

Thanks bud, just testing, trying to get a proper picture (camera) together to upload and communicate with you guys regarding coins I have a hard time finding. I often learn from what is discussed here about the mysterious coins. Thanks in advance for the knowledge and experience you's all share with us.
