Trying to see if worth having graded and wanted your opinion. It is a nice specimen. Thanks! *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Everyone is going to have his/her opinion, but it can't hurt to authenticate this one.

I'll say MS-62, not a fan I'm afraid.

I'll say low MS grade.

There really isn't a big price pop on this common date until you approach the mid-60s. In other words, not much difference between an MS-61 and 62.

Not worth grading

It's worth getting authenticated. The 1932 $10 is the most commonly seen gold eagle fake at NGC. https://www.ngccoin.com/resources/c...d-states/36/ Many of these were real gold and very well done. Few if any of us could pick out a fake from images. As said, the grade doesn't impact value much until above MS63, but I sure wouldn't buy one of these without authentication.

with the above. IOM the only reason to pay a TPG to examine this coin is to determine authenticity ... which will certainly ease the eventual sale.

MS-63, solid coin of a common issue. If you are doing anything besides placing it in a dansco or other album, I would slab it.

I'm at MS62 on it. Slabbing does make it easier to sell but it's a toss up because of the cost to do so. Regardless this design is one of my favorite.

Thank you for your responses. Does anything look off about my coin? Is there easy way to tell if it is a fake? Weighs right and looks right. Thanks

Looks genuine to me, but the obverse bag marks detract even in this relatively poor lighting. If it grades at 62, you're throwing your money away. Take it to a reputable LCS and ask them if it's genuine.

Larger photos would be needed to check for authenticity, nothing obvious pops out in these photos.
