I have a coin with a troubled past. This Walking Liberty has what I believe to be a filled die issue where the date should be. I have looked through several post and haven't found anything exactly like this. I believe this is a error made when the coin was struck. If not, I would be more than happy to learn other possibilities.

This is the reverse of the coin. I am have problems getting my photos under 300mg. I am using the Pixlr and my windows re-sizer. Do I have to change the settings on my camera?

All those scratches in the area make me think someone deliberately removed the date.

I understand your comment. The distortion does not look to be man made. I have included a better photo of the area.

You need to do something. The better the pics you post the better we can help you.

WADR,you did not. Blurry and too much glare.
You should post a question in the photo section telling us what your set-up is. Make and model of camera,lighting etc so we can give you some tips and suggestions.
