Hi,
What can be done to remove the green deposit without damaging the surface.
Thanks!

I do not see the tiny spot of green as presenting any long term threat.
I have ancient bronze coins with a lot more green in area, but only presents as a very thin green layer, and have remained stable for over 30 years, with zero change.

Coin pictured has an attractive patina, that should not be disturbed.

Just keep this coin away from moisture or humidity, silica gel would help.

I have no access here (canada) to verdicare. Look between the leafs behind the shield and on the rear legs of the lion.

I don't believe this a Canadian Colonial Token

Does it have a Charlton # ?

I agree with 1960NYGiants
Leave it as is, it's not unattractive.
If you try to remove it you will most likely be disappointed. There may already be damage beneath the crud, or the patina may be removed along with the bad stuff, leaving you with an ugly token.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thanks! I think the 1813 is a border line token from Bowman list.
