I found this 1973 half dollar in some change. I was just wondering if this was a good showing of a double die. Thank you all for your time and help.

And yes, Machine Doubling again. One can tell MD from genuine doubling as MD is shelf-like such as your coin, but real doubling tends to expand the devices on a coin.

Yes exactly, shelf-like doubling that serves to reduce the width of the letters is going to Machine Doubling. No premium for this, but yours is a nice example.
