I have not weighed this yet I believe it to be zinc There Seems to be a raised line on this Lincoln Cent. if it is one of those die chips or die cracks any information and opinions greatly appreciated. I am assuming it's probably not worth getting graded if it is an error or I don't even know how much an error like that would go for and mint condition if it was Mint Condition which I'm sure it's not it's probably low thank you for your time thank you very much *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

Yes small date, with what looks like a possible Linear Plating Bubble at Lincoln's forehead.

yes, this is a Small date, Denver minted cent - one that I'm willing to bet weighs in at approx. 2.5 grams. (zinc coin)

Quote: The line did not go away when I applied pressure It usually doesn't, unless it's a "puffed up" blister type plating bubble like this example:

So more than likely a bubble line rather than I die crack we're thinking?

Yes, that linear feature is a plating artifact--not a die crack.

If that bubble ever burst open then the zinc is exposed to air and coin will start to rot.
