I have questions about these two coins.
I sent one in back a couple years ago to Cudsoncoins. It's SKH-10c-1999P-01
In the comparison pictures the one sent in is on the top.

I've had a second one for a while now. To me they both line up.
(IF) I'm right and they line up to be a match.
My questions are.
Which one came first? Each one has more or less die chips and in different locations than the other.
(IF) they are from the same die. How did/do they get rid of some of the die chips?
Check out the mark running N/S between the crack and hair and the one by the mouth.

I'm probably wrong and the crack on a different die happened very close to the other die.
Thanks as always for your time and input.

@rob, as far as I know, die chips, once present, cannot be eliminated other than by replacing the die. The sharp corners might be smoothed over during a subsequent polishing step and theoretically the die chip could fill in with grease and not make as pronounced of a protrusion on the coin but neither of these eliminates the die chip. Therefore, whichever coin has more die chips will have been struck later by that die. Moreover, if both coins have one or more die chips not present on the other one, then I think that they must have been struck from different dies.

with Spence, Rob.

Very well stated, Spence! I would have stumbled through that explanation.

. With Spence. Figured they had to fill the chips with something. I did wonder if they're buffing/filling them why didn't the spike get filled?

With Jon@makecents. I too would have stumbled through that explanation. Even proof reading I would've messed up.

With John1. LOL That emoji would best fit me.

I'm thinking the second coin found would be later because of the thicker crack.
What you say ?
