I have never seen the bays polished to this extent. In some areas, the bays are almost level with the columns. This must have been a nice clash at one point.

Thanks for checking it out, everybody! I have seen much more extreme polishing "lines" on many coins but never the severity of depth on the bay areas as this.

I'll answer that, the bays are the highest part on the Die. So it got polished not the column because it is incuse on the Die.

I like the heavy polishing though.
