Beautiful coin I got from work... They wanted a bill to gamble! Weight 22.6 not silver, unfortunately. I would love to get feedback on possible grade please and thank you! SEE BETTER PHOTOS BELOW... Edited by SunnyNinaD 02/27/2024 08:54 am

I'm a terrible grader. All I can say is she's a beauty.

First pics lighting doesn't show it's brilliance.

From the first picture, the flatness along the jawline indicates it is AU. You said you got it at work meaning it had to be circulated at some point.

your new photos actually show circulate wear on the jaw, neck, eagle neck, wings and tail. the coin is circulated. there are also surface blemishes from handling.

There are some visible hits on the neck, jaw and ear. I'm at AU-55.

I have noticed that certain 1974-D Eisenhower dollars can be very polished compared to 1972 coins, for example. It's just a little quirk I found while looking through stacks of Ikes. There is probably a very mundane reason for that, but I don't know it offhand.
