I came across a few pennies with die chips and bubbles in the plating. Are they worth holding on to?

the plating bubbles no, not worth holding onto in my opinion, but thats me.
I have many cents with various die chips I kept, but they have no added value, just interesting to me, and cheap to collect

Plating bubbles aren't worth keeping, in my opinion. I do collect Die Chips, like BIES and big Die Chips.

@seek, the cost of ownership is low so save what you want. For sure, those cents with plating bubbles will always be worth only face value. You might save a couple of the biggest die chips or even start to assemble a die progression series if you are finding different size chips in the same spot.

Thanks. I'll keep the coin in the 1st picture as the chip is very easily noticeable. First box of pennies I've gotten. Picked out all the wheats and have looked at about $5 so far. Only notable coin so far is 1969 D no FG, floating roof.

That is a made up ebay "error coin"
Keep what you like.
Plating issues and die chips only have value when major.
