Going through some of my grandfathers collection I acquired and this guy loved halfs and dollars. He's got jars and rolls beyond belief. They are all pretty darn mint but In jars. I'd like to know I guess if there are any years I need to take extra care of. All seem to be from late 60-70's. Great shape but I'd like to get them out of these jars. Hes got some on a card sheet that he kept separated.

Don't hold your breath.. Those dated 1965-1970 worth about $3-4 each, those dated later just worth face usually.

Yes I agree with the frog. Set aside anything with silver and be prepared to spend the rest unless you have an emotional attachment to these coins.

1970-D are keepers. You could look for errors and varieties as well as high grade ones.https://www.pcgs.com/photograde/

I personally would check for the known errors as suggested above. There are some possibilities out there. It will take some study and learning, but worth it!
