Hi everyone,

Newer collector and wondering if there is a quick-hit list of coins that a "change-collector" should be on the look-out for?

There are so many variations that it can be overwhelming, so I was thinking that maybe there is a top 20 coins that people should keep an eye out for when going through their change in their daily lives?

I'm sure there is a list (or 100) online so I'll look there as well, but just thought the members here would be able to come up with a solid starting point!

thx! steve

The best bet is still to just get the cheap folders and try to fill them with the nicest coins you can find.

The ones you can't find are the ones to keep.

You should be able to find such lists right here.

Good luck.

You can still find silver in circulation, War Nickels from 1942-1945, and any silver dimes, quarters and halves. On the halves, also include those from 1965=1970, as they contain silver.
