What does the obverse look like? I can see a kid doing something like that. If you peeled it off in one piece you'd have a neat impression of the cent. Report this Post to the Staff

But what ever that stuff is around the rim was added after the coin was struck. The rim devices are struck up very well right up to the thing that is 'covering' them can you get up a nice edge shot of the coin where 'America" is on the reverse? Collecting since 1972.
