I was mesmerized with the MS67 obverse in GEM RED but then .. I hope you can do something with the reverse. Now it may be overall MS62 RD spotted reverse.

LOL! No, those carbon spots are permanent for sure.

Sorry to see the carbon, but the coin's technical merits are otherwise astounding. Absolutely a keeper.

Killer coin! Love it! Overall MS-64; shame about the spot.

It kills me to look at this coin :(
How perfect is the obv, wow! MS67 easy i'd say. Then you flip the coin and those spots stare and laugh at you! That sucks! I'd say overall MS64 ish. Nice coin Thad.

MS64RB. Just can't bring myself to say Gem with carbon spots that big.

LOL! OK, but look past the carbon spots like I did....the details on this coin are exceptional for a 1921. Sometimes you gotta give to take! Hey, it'd look real impressive in old, press-in Whitman folder! HAHAHAHA Oh...I forgot, I paid AU55 money for this one!

With the two contact marks on the obverse above the "1" and the carbon spot in front of the nose, to PCGS or NGC, an MS67RB designation IMO is impossible. This coins eye appeal is incredible and the strike is huge! Putting that aside, combining the obverse details as well as the reverse carbon spots, I'd bet this is MS64RB as stated. AU55 money paid for this coin was outstanding
