Not sure about this one. Usually for me when Struck Through Grease it has more of a crater look. Any help would be appreciated. It's sealed in a plastic case so tried to take best photos I could. Is it worth opening the case up?
It's on the reverse wheat.

Looks like it's been replated.

Looks like a poor replating job.

Didn't even realize that was a thing...especially for a semi common 1 cent. But it does make sense on how it looks now that you mention it. If I want to sell it do I just highlight the fact it has been replated?

Agree, reprocessed - no numismatic value.

Double J, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to sell this coin by itself.

No, I'd sell the set it's sealed in.

That looks like an after market case. Not from the mint. Especially since that cent had to be put out the case to get replaced.
All the coins have different dates on them - or plated before being placed in it..
1922 Peace dollar
1943 Lincoln Wheat cent
1944 Jefferson nickel
1925 Mercury dime
1960 Washington quarter
1963 Franklin half dollar

Kind-a mish-mash of well circulated coins.

Nah, I typically get more than melt on American coins...though probably not much on this set given the randomness of the set and the damaged penny. Maybe I'll break it open. Anyway doesn't matter at this point. Got my answer. Thank you all for your help.
