It's very odd attribute on this coin and I am not 100% sure what it is. I know everyone will say it's PMD which I think it is but it's a pretty odd location.

(Wexler, VV, and etc doesn't have anything remotely close to this listed which is why it might be just a "conveniently" located/placed PMD)

that looks like a RIDB (albeit a small one) a Retained Interior Die Break.

Can you tell if the feature is raised or incuse?

@dearborn - when I get back to the house, I will try to get a better picture to show the profile of the Coin. It is raised, but I'll show the evidence shortly.

Very cool find and not listed! This is and IDB or die chip, depending on the size, not an RIDB, the break would appear to have fallen out.
