I have just way to much junk lying around. Found this in the bottom of a 2x2 box today. Why I tossed it in there in the first place I have no idea.

Anyway Please feel free to assign a grade.

I'll be the first guinea pig for the Jefferson master. My guess is MS63 with a shot at 64. Lot's of chatter on the collar, and black spotting on the cheek. Looks like rub on the hair up high, but I'm guessing it's just strike considering the weakness of the building as well. Don't think the spotting would affect grade, but it catches the eye. Awesome toning, and the reverse looks really nice. Is the O in "of" on the reverse doubled? Reflections make the whole thing seem doubled, but the O kind of stands out.

I saw what looked like rub in the hair also, but I started thinking it was a strike issue. I guess we'll wait to see what others think.

It's a softer strike MS64 coin. Nice rose toning

Would it be a problem to ask for a third image? One of this tilted at a 45 degree angle of the obverse side? It sure is a nice nickel.
I can't grade it though, I see the reverse looks great but the obverse has me stuck.

MS64, the toning is quite original and eye appealing

MS 62, MS63? Has some hair line scratches, look in front on his pony tail.

Drat, I just went to post and closed the window & lost all my comments. Here I go again.

First round of images had me wondering if Jefferson's shoulder was maybe a large area of slight cabinet wear. ( That is why I was asking for an angle shot of the obverse.)
The new image has me thinking it is just another area of toning.
The numerous tiny dark specks I see kind of take away from the eye appeal on the obverse.
As far as ticks and contact marks. I see them as much as anyone under that HUGE linked larger image.
But I don't think that grading criteria is for such high magnification by a professional grader.
Probably what we see in the smaller size before clicking is almost enough to go by unless a MS69 or MS70 coin is in question.

This one, in my opinion, easily makes MS65 grade on the reverse, no problem at all.
The obverse is border MS63/MS64 so I would give it a MS64 grade as well as others have said.
A really nice semi key date and first year coin. I really like it, it is a wonderful addition to any Jefferson collection for sure!
