Ps I took great pics but this website is older than a Buffalo nickel with its picture policy never even heard of such a problem.if you want better qualify pictures I can email or text them to you to look closer if you wanna give an opinion

 to the Community! I see you are on an iPhone. Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. This is a great setup for cell phones.

 To CCF! It lt appears altered after it left the U.S. Mint. PMD. Also might have been plated at one time too.

It appears to be a Dryer Coin or purposefully ground down around the rim. That could explain the light weight. Lots of clad quarters have that thick copper edge so it isn't anything unusual, and the color is just environmental.

 to the CCF and  The rim has been sanded down along with the face. Coins can and do take on all shades of color depending on what they come across in the environment.

Intentionally damage quarter
(I use an android phone for all my images and NEVER have an issue uploading high quality images (and most on mine are at 90Kbts of less.)
