I've looked for errors anywhere even close to similar on all the coins from this year. Not even just this one and I can't find anything like it. I'm curious maybe you guys can help spot it out let me know if it's something I should look into first off the
Frontside of the coin has a goldish color, that's faded off. on the back it has like a brownish bronze, looking color that has hints of blue ish green which can only be seen if the light is hitting it just right .all sides of the coin, including the edge are extremely smooth which I point out the pictures. Also the edge the raised edge is almost missing from both sides of the coin
Last, but not least the layers of metal that create create the coin there's way more of the copper color than what is normal like there's almost no silver color metal in the layers and the coin is extremely light in weight . What the helll am I looking at here

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I see you are on an iPhone. Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. This is a great setup for cell phones.

To CCF! It lt appears altered after it left the U.S. Mint. PMD. Also might have been plated at one time too.

It appears to be a Dryer Coin or purposefully ground down around the rim. That could explain the light weight. Lots of clad quarters have that thick copper edge so it isn't anything unusual, and the color is just environmental.

to the CCF and The rim has been sanded down along with the face. Coins can and do take on all shades of color depending on what they come across in the environment.

Intentionally damage quarter

(I use an android phone for all my images and NEVER have an issue uploading high quality images (and most on mine are at 90Kbts of less.)
