For those of you who were not following the Greatcollections.com auction that closed last weekend, I wanted to share out some eye-popping results. Many of these coins were top-pop but the prices were off the charts. Exciting to see 2 Feather Buffalos finally getting the attention they deserve! To view photos, create a Great Collections account and look at closed auction listings.

1929-S Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 PCGS MS-62
$1,938 hammer, $2,180.25 with BP

1927-S Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 PCGS AU-58 (Toned)
$2,609 hammer, $2,935.12 with BP

1927-D Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 PCGS XF-45
$3,609 hammer, $4,060.12 with BP
(way too much 3rd feather left on this one for me but it didn't seem to matter!)

1926-D Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 PCGS AU-58
$4,250 hammer, $4,781.25 with BP

1925-S Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 (FS-016.641) PCGS VF-30
$853 hammer, $959.62 with BP

1921 Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 (FS-016.633) PCGS MS-62
$2,054 hammer, $2,310.75 with BP
(same as above, too much 3rd feather and this one is easy to find completely abraded)

1919 Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers PCGS MS-63 (Toned)
$926 hammer, $1,041.75 with BP

1918 Buffalo nickel 2 Feathers FS-401 (FS-016.46) PCGS XF-45
$1,284 hammer, $1,444.50 with BP

Makes all that eye-numbing searching worthwhile! I've been plucking these every chance I get, but very few in these grades. THanks for the recap.

I had a few on my watchlist. Knew early on that I would not be playing ball on any.
