That does not look like a genuine Indian Head cent. Perhaps it's a Civil War token or maybe play money. Please remove it from the 2X2 and take better pictures.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Probably something to those effects - Looks to be copper plated so who knows what it was intended for,
