Hello,

I found this penny today. Is this a die crack? Is this worth anything? Also should something like this be graded? I tried my best on the photos.

Thanks!!

Certainly appears to be, but it would not command much of a premium and would be pointless to have a TPG evaluate it. Nice find, nonetheless.

. That's a typical place for a crack.
Photos are fine. Just in the future crop the full shots of the coin.

Nice Die Crack, but not worth sending to a TPG.

Nice cie crack, but most of these do not command premium.

As to grading, you need to understand the first submission you make to either PCGS or NGC is going to cost you around 150.00-200.00 b/c of added on fees (they require a paid membership). ANACS does not have the membership fees and is a lot less expensive.

While you will find people claiming their favorite company is the best one, none of the companies use any verifiable/legitimate standards to grade with. The same gripes can be found online for all the companies. And all of the companies may assign a different grade to a coin if cracked out of their own slab and resubmitted to them.
