What's up with this coin? It's weighing in at 5.72g as well it's rotated 90° could this be a genuine mint errors? Or something else?

The metal looks so soft (with all the marks) that it looks like lead or some other very soft metal. It didn't come from the Mint, unless some kind of trial piece, either here in Canada or one of the fake-making countries.

Yea it does seem soft. I was guessing lead too especially since it's weighing in heavy and it's non magnetic... Is there any chance that this was done at the mint? Were there any foreign coins that would be made of lead in 69 maybe? It just seems odd for someone to go through the effort to counterfeit a quarter

There are some Canadian lead trials but they are struck with great details, this is direct opposite
