Hello, I got this in my change today. It's got alot of the devices not there. The drum looks like a spilling bucket. Anyone e seen one like this. I'm thinking mostly a grease error? Thank you.

Can you post up an image of the edge ? (the area or the edge at the motto 'IGWT' please?
Could be a Grease Filled Die, but the rim area looks strange.
Could be a weak strike (not likely though) or
a possible tilted planchet (which is why I would like to see the edge)

I'm thinking a grease issue. Possible too that emerging Die Deterioration is in-play as well. Interesting piece.

Only off a bit but outside of tolerances - could be rolled thin, or a Greaser, or die related. At this point I'd say pick whatever sounds coolest. Rolled-thin Greaser would do well on ebay.

Very nice find. I think more than one thing is going on here. Maybe Mike would like to comment on it.

With the most effected spot on the left side on both the obverse and reverse, I'm going to say that with the light weight this is a tapered planchet. The drum is just an area on these that suffer from a light weight planchet.
