Hi, I'd like to get some opinions on whether people think the brown spot I'm seeing is on the coin or capsule. I'm interested in buying this coin for my birth year set but if the spot is on the coin like I think it is, then I'll probably pass. I sent a message to the seller about this but never got a response. Maybe that in and of itself is my answer. Any opinions would greatly be appreciated.

Open the capsule and see? It should just be a pressed fit. But it looks to be on the coins surface.

It would appear the coin is still in the sellers hands.

With what I'm seeing, I suspect it's on the coin's surface.

Better find one you're happy with and have no doubts about.

If the spot were on the capsule, it would appear further from the tail in the second photo because of the angle. (It's good that you have two shots from different angles.). The spot is in the same place in both shots. It's on the coin.

Thank you for all of the responses. I thought it was on the coin but I just wanted to get the opinions from more well trained eyes. I'll pass and keep on looking.
