Is this a Double? I don't have any other coin to compare it to. Anyone else see this on theres?

Pictures are too pixilated. Can't see details clear enough. Try defusing your lighting for pictures.
For help on this, check out the coin photography forum on this site.
It will help you in a tremendously.

When I need to compare coins that I don't have, I look at several on the bay for comparisons

While we're at it, a photo of the obverse would be interesting. The '55 cent can have 'interesting' die cracks of the front.

For fun, do a google image search on '1955 Wheat cent'. Scores of images will appear quickly, very quickly.

Well it is not doubling - the angle is wrong. could be a hit on the top of the wheat (the angled side from the point down, thus changing the shape a bit.

Looks like some kind of doubling going on there.
The question is whether or not it's a real Double Die mint error, or Machine Doubling (no value).

Are you using a coin microscope to take your photos?
