Coin roll hunting through about 25 lbs of pennies, I spied this. Machine Doubling or deteriorated die doubling?
Bear with the photos. Finally got a card for my microscope, figuring things out.

i agree with okiecoiner, a classic form of Machine Doubling. Although it is not a doubled die variety, Machine Doubling in the 40's is a lot less common than it is on modern struck coinage, not worth a premium but still a good example to hold onto for educational purposes.
Finding and discovering modern Canadian doubled die varieties since 2018.

Agree but someone out there will pay a premium for a new doubled date. I would say $5 to $10.
