Chances are that you'll want the cleaned coin even less. Don't do it.

The only safe thing to do to this coin is to use PURE acetone. Otherwise you will be removing value.

Anytime you think you have a doubled die, go to varietyvista.com. If it is not there then you have a form of non-collectable doubling such as Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling, etc.

I do look at variety vista and thats why I posted the jf I see thing's sticking off and they say its a double like in the F so I needed help to determine,

With chemicals I can clean but can't soak long like 5 seconds or until I see the toned gone no more if you leave in chemicals to long yes you won't like the coin after I been practicing on two things polishing with rubber silicone tips and chemicals or lesser value coins I'm getting pretty good you can't see any polishing makes when I'm done I got a 1982 Washington quarter and 1983 that look nice yes it takes the magic touch so practice is perfect I use other things I find that's very soft could be anything I found.an that using your hands not your dremel to polish very carefully is better OK thank you very much have a good day maybe I'll post something later
