How common/rare are clipped planchet coins?

I just found a 1970 Canadian cent clipped 1-2mm (not much but a start)

Thanks!

These coins show up in the marketplace from time to time. The rarer coins will have multiple clips (2 or 3 usually). The more scarce clipped coins are the elliptical clipped coins which resemble an oval.

You see these small clips on U.S. Cents as well. These are the more common clips generally seen on cents and nickels.
