I'll wait for the experts to chime in. But just for fun, I'll guess.
Since the LMC is off-center is on both sides, I'll suspect an off-center strike and possibly a problem with the collar, partial broadstrike?
Admittedly, I don't understand striking errors too well.

Broadstruck means there was no collar. When that happens it looks like this:

In the first photo I thought that's what I was looking at. Of course I should have looked closer at the rest of the photo's.
