A regular digital camera might not provide enough detail of coins to determine values of coins.

Any recommendations for specific stock photo sources of coins?

@collect, it sounds like you are wanting to use a picture of a coin from someone else's collection when asking questions about a coin in your collection. If so, then I don't really see how that is going to work. In order to diagnose problems, identify varieties, or grade, we need to see the actual coin in question. Or am I mis-understanding your question?

And how would a stock photo provide value of "your" coin?

It's not your coin, you can't use someone else's photo of a different coin to get the value of yours.

It's also not the camera (well it's the camera and knowing how to use it).

I can pretty much use this picture to price a coin?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

If you are wishing to enquire about the value of specific coins that you own, then we need to see nice clear pics of those specific coins - posting pictures of similar coins taken by someone else simply won't work. There's a reason why ebay refuses to allow coin sales with stock photos - that's because it's essentially meaningless to ask "how much is a coin that is kind of like this one worth?".

I was advised that images of coins from online coinbook guides are not accepted in 'Coin Community.'

It is 100% impossible to get a value for your coin by posting someone else's. It just won't work.

These are digital camera pics, taken by me, uploaded here, not good enough? If I were to do a single side at a time, they'd be even better.

An old-school print book, 'A Guide Book of United States coins' (The Official Red Book), by 'R.S.Yeoman' valued my '1969 D Linclon Cent MS-65' found in-change at 30 cents.

And, if you post pictures of your actual coin - not some random stock photo of a 1969-D cent - we can have an opinion as to whether or not it really is "MS-65", and point you in the direction of a current price guide.

For example, the NGC price guide currently lists three prices for MS-65 1969-D cents, depending on the "redness" of your coin: $2.50 for MSBN, $10 for MSRB and $12.50 for MSRD. Granted, this price guide is for slabbed coins, and presumably yours is not slabbed since you "found it in change" and haven't mentioned you've gone and gotten it slabbed, but it still indicates how we can't help without pictures of your actual coin - because we can't see how "red" your coin is, or even if it truly is MS-65.
