Brazil 100 Reis. KM 492, made of copper-nickel. F-$1 VF-$2.50 XF-$8.

If that were in my collection I'd grade it Fine.

Just a comment about grading foreign coins and the prices they bring. Most foreign grading standards are higher than US.

Remember this coin is copper-nickel which makes it a long wearing coin to start with AND it was struck in a collar making a pronounced rim on high grade copies. In this case, the wear has removed portions of the rim entirely. Without the complete rim, a coin can not be graded as Fine in my opinion in any system other than US. I would vote for VG at the highest, but if it were in my collection I would value it as a Good.

I would lean more toward VG or G as well.
